Is this dry food?

No, this is a cooked mash with the same texture and consistency that you would expect from a freshly cooked and mashed or pureed food.

Does it need to be reheated?

Ready to Serve: This product is fully cooked and can be eaten straight out of the pouch either cold, at room temperature, or re-heated.

Microwave Reheating Option: Empty the mash into a bowl and reheat for 30 secs in a microwave (adjust for different wattage). For even reheating, stop and stir halfway, then resume.

Pot Reheating Option: Place the entire pouch unopened in a pot of hot water for a few minutes. Handle with care (using tongs or oven mitts if available).

Does it contain any preservatives?

No, it’s all natural and contains absolutely no preservatives, colourings or any additives.

Our mashed pastes and purees are packaged and thermo-stabilized in specially made retort-pouches, similar to ones used for field rations and for astronauts to consume in outer space!
